FTS Safety offers a two day First Aid Level 1 training in Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Johannesburg and Cape Town for unit standard 119567. This is the correct course for company compliance with the Department of Labour
The basic first aid & CPR training course is aimed at teaching students how to perform basic life support and first aid procedures.
FTS Safety uses the new syllabus for First Aid
The old syllabus is no longer recognised by the Department of Labour
Our venue has plenty of safe parking behind a gate and with a security guard on duty.
Public classes are more interactive.
You have candidates from various companies and industries all joining together so the questions are interesting and you get additional insight into the risks in different industries.
Venue: Maritzburg West Bowling Club, 2 Ormond Street, Pietermaritzburg. Please arrive at 08:45. We start at 09:00 and finish at 15:00 on both days. Pens and lunch are provided. Lunch varies, for example a health roll, wors roll or fish and chips.
What should you bring?
- A copy of your ID document
- Appropriate clothing doing the first aid practical on the second day
The first aid course requires you to complete an assignment in the week that follows and return it to us to be marked.
Your certificate will be emailed within 7 days. If you require proof that you have attended immediately please let the course facilitator know on the morning of training.
