What the Law Says: When there are more than 20 employees, at least one Health and Safety Representative must be designated in writing for every 50 employees (or every 100 employees in a shop or office). OHS Act section 17.
Course: UNIT STANDARD 9964 NQF 2 - 3 Credits
It is the general duty of the employer to their employees to provide information, instructions, training and supervision as necessary to ensure their health and safety at work.
FTS Safety Training uses SAQA (South African Qualifications Authority) aligned material that is SETA approved to deliver both practical and theoretical training that is more than just a certificate. Students will leave with a clear understanding of their responsibilities and confidence to implement what they have learnt enabling them to effect the change needed to better promote safety and compliance.
